About Us

Hi there! I'm the baker, Chance. Since I was a child, baking has sparked joy. My fondest memories of baking come from the holiday season, when my mother, sister, and I would bake a truly extraordinary amount of cookies. The excitement I felt helping craft those delicious holiday treats rivaled the fervent excitement of Christmas morning.

While baking continued to be a hobby of mine throughout the years, it was only recently that I started considering it as a potential career. I have slowly branched out on my own, challenging myself to make notoriously difficult feats of baking while crafting recipes that meet my strict standards. My philosophy is simple, why eat it if it is only good, not great? While I try to keep the essence of what I am baking, I strive to elevate it in unique ways, often by utilizing ancient grains which help round out the flavor. This includes adding or emphasizing earthy flavors, such as with buckwheat flour, or nutty notes, such as with einkorn flour.

I am excited to make this journey, wherever it will take me. I appreciate your support and, crucially, your constructive feedback as I learn how to introduce what started as a mere hobby to yinz and beyond.

Since we are just starting out, our goodies are made-to-order, so we require a minimum of 3 days to make and deliver them. You will enter these details at checkout.
